Grow!

You know, we witness record numbers of families splitting up these days, our kids getting zombified, increasing numbers of people on their way to prison, and an increasing culture of trendies who think population control is cool.  The country is going to hell in a hand basket.. and there are a number of reasons why, but one of them I was pondering tonight- We have a bunch of spoiled little boys who won’t be, or don’t know how to be men.  The princesses don’t help either, but that could be sorted out if we were all right, and taking our Biblical roles responsibly.  A bunch of rebellious boys who didn’t get enough discipline or love growing up, and that’s where they stayed.  Stunted growth.  They hate God, and they won’t come under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  He is absolutely everything, or he is nothing.  These fellas amass wealth, and toys, and all manner of possessions, and then when that doesn’t satisfy their void, they attempt to fill it with entertainment.  Some people may look at them, and think they got it all.  They might even try to convince themselves and other people of that too.  They know as well as I do, that their whole life is absolutely worthless apart from Jesus Christ.  Worthless!  It’s all wood, hay, and stubble.. and it’ll all burn in eternity!  Not even a legacy to leave behind!  They know they’re empty!  Yet they go through the same routine each and every day, never attempting to change anything or grow at all. Let’s just ignore the inevitable and entertain ourselves some more.  Well, I’d feel the same way if I didn’t have this goal to work towards- and this one will last through eternity.  My real life won’t even really start, until the day I leave this physical body. Until then, I drag this cross along as always.. some days I can barely pick it up and move a couple of steps.  I’ll sure be glad when this is all over.  ..and I hope you aren’t one who’s dreading the last mile.

Christian Powertools

Posted: August 26, 2012 in Be Mindful

If you as a christian, only knew the power available to you as a follower of Christ, the darkside would be toast.  I have sought it out painstakingly, and even still yet, I have only seen the tip of the cornerstone.  We are able to cast out demons, heal the sick, communicate with the creator of the universe, share the gospel of Jesus Christ, do creative miracles, and even strike fear into the minds of lions. Yet most of us are unable to come to our full potential- it is extremely hard to live the righteous lifestyle that allows us to do such things.  We know that Satan hands out all kinds of power to his agents.. demonic power is easily acquired.. but it is not even close to being as potent as the power of God.  This is why I’m writing today about FASTING.  It is the best tool we have, whatever level you are on.

Fasting has many uses and is a good tool to discipline the body and loosen the bands that evil spirits have placed on us. (1 Corinthians 9:26-27) However, there is one area I want to focus on today.. getting the breakthrough in prayer. When the Bible says to Humble yourself and Pray, it is basically saying to Fast and Pray.  Pride blocks our communication with God at times.. it is one of the most dangerous of sins, and is the very sin that was responsible for Lucifer/Satan being kicked out of the 3rd heaven.  So God has given us this tool of fasting, which Jesus himself did for 40 days after he was Baptized.  You do not want to pray for God to humble you… because you’ll find yourself in the most humiliating situation, and wonder “Why is this happening to me?!”.  Fasting for any amount of time is good, but 40 days without food is the goal you want to shoot for when seeking a big breakthrough.  You can even speed up the process by going without sleep as well.  No Food nor Sleep is what we call the “Ruth Fast”…  A diet of only fruit and vegetables is what we call a “Daniel Fast”.  No food, you could call a “Moses Fast” if you’d like… but most the time people like Moses, and Jesus didn’t even have water either.  However, I don’t recommend refusing your body water, unless you’re as close to God as they were.

Fasting is also used by the darkside, and probably more often than christians do.  Fasting opens you up to the spirit realm, and this is why Prayer is extremely important during fasting.  If you don’t want evil spirits, then you’d best remember to pray.  …and as far as the breakthrough you’re seeking, don’t forget to “Pray Through”.  Just a few decades ago, churches wouldn’t close for hours after service, because people were still at the altar sobing, and pouring their heart out to God, to Pray through the 2nd heaven, to the throne room of God.  There’s alot of evil spirits in the 2nd heaven that would like to hinder your prayers, so the more muscle you can put behind them, the better.  Dump the pride, Pray by mouth (Proverbs 18:21), and seek after God’s ear as though it were $100,000 which you had lost earlier in the day.  That’s another reason why we don’t get the break through.  We seek the face of God as though we were looking for a nickel.  If ya don’t find it, no big deal…  I say all this, because there’s alot of power in the written and spoken word… and this is where I’m personally at on the last mile.  Seeking the face of God himself.  I’ve heard several testimonies of people who sought God, and they sought with all their heart (Jeremiah 29:13) and after they had strained and knocked, he came!  These were all men from different times, and different places.. and they sought with different methods.  One man sat up all night in an army barracks crying, “I won’t let you go, until you bless me”..  Another prayed for a few hours a night off and on for several months saying, “Lord, you said if I seek you, I will find you.. You said it Lord, please come!”  Another man fasted for roughly 35 days, and the Lord told him to keep fasting a few more days, that he had something special for him.  They all testified of the same blue-colored mist coming down, and they all fell on the ground terrified.  One of these men cried out to God, to stay back, because he thought he would die.  Another was curled up in a fetal position thinking, “God’s come to kill me!”  They were crushed under the weight of God’s glory, and delivered of many evil spirits all at once.  … And then the fear left as the evil spirits did, and they were filled with Joy, Peace, Love, and Righteousness.  This is what I want, and I hope you do too.  It is one thing to hear a still small voice, but to have such a relationship with God, that it’s an audible voice is what I seek.  It is a marvelous thing when God gets ahold of a man.. but even more marvelous and wonderful when a man gets ahold of God!  I would rather die than to go on living without the presence and power of God in my life!

Demons will definitely try to stop you from doing this.. but maybe if we all storm the gates together, by the mercy of God, some of us can break through.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. – Proverbs 18:21

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. – Jeremiah 29:13

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;  then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1 Corinthians 9:26-27

Dear Jesus

I got this in a letter from Brother Michael Boldea this morning..  It sounds about right.

_____________________________________________________________________________

Dear Jesus,
Sorry for not talking in so long a time, but Your love being compulsory, You’ll just have to understand. We the people of planet earth have gotten together and have agreed upon some things, which we thought fitting to pass along.
We think it only right we have a say, and even if You disagree, we demand it, and as such You have to do it.
First off, we believe there has been some sort of miscommunication, because a handful of your representatives still seem to think we are in need of forgiveness, and keep throwing around words like repentance, self-denial, and self-renunciation. We are not looking for forgiveness since forgiveness implies wrongdoing, what we are looking for from You is validation more than anything.
We don’t believe we’ve done anything wrong since sin is relative and subject to individual interpretation. As such, we no longer believe in the existence of sin, or consequence, justice, or hell for that matter.
Just tell us we’re okay and heaven-bound no matter what we do and no matter what we allow to nest in our hearts, and we can continue having as amicable a coexistence as we have enjoyed thus far.
Since certain things in Your Book were offensive to us, we decided to change the parts we didn’t like. At first we thought you might disapprove, but what You have to understand is that by changing a few things, and tweaking a few others, coming to church has become attractive to more people, and this translates into more revenue. In the end, isn’t revenue what it’s all about? Trust us, we know business, and keeping the Book the way it was, was cutting into the bottom line. Make people feel at ease, make them feel comfortable, do not challenge their lifestyle, and you’ll have faithful and loyal givers that will put you over the top with every offering.
When you really think about it, it was only a matter of time anyway. Can You really expect those of this generation to prefer You over their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, wives and husbands, when they don’t even prefer You over their possessions, positions, and proclivities?
Since you’ve likely seen what is happening on this planet, we were also wondering why you were late in returning. What’s keeping you? By our estimation You should have been here by now, and we should all be in heaven feasting and attending a wedding…at least that’s what our guest speaker said last Sunday.
Need we remind you this isn’t what we signed up for? The Apostles of old, and those of the primary church might have been foolish enough to sign on the dotted line, but we read the fine print, and made our own amendments before signing. We hope you honor those amendments, even though we didn’t run them by you.
So just to set the record straight, our amendments include but are not limited to, no persecution, no hardship, and no tribulation. We’ve all agreed we don’t have what it takes to endure to the end, so please come sooner than you’d intended, just to make sure we’re not scarred – emotionally or otherwise – by what we’re starting to see taking shape all around us.
Although we do not intend any offense, we are firm concerning the aforementioned issues, and even most preachers, evangelists, and pastors agree with us on our points.
Sincerely,
An Unrepentant Generation

Truth vs. Opinion

Posted: July 28, 2012 in Be Mindful

I get so tired and weary of seeing so many zombified and ignorant to the point that they esteem and idolize their own beliefs and opinions above the Truth.  I don’t care about opinion, or what people want to believe, or even what I want to believe.  I’m like a mountain goat, and if I’m going to stand on something, it had better be solid! The only way two “professing christians” (or anyone for that matter) can be divided on a matter, is when at least one of them is in ignorance and error. (..And to shoot a rabbit while I’m here- when people have scriptures shooting at each other, they have the wrong interpretation.) Unlike opinions, The TRUTH is ABSOLUTE, UNSHAKEABLE- and it is the only way the True children of God can be in one accord. People say the bride is on life support, but that’s an imposter! Therefore, we ARE in one accord, adding to our numbers daily, because what secular society calls “the church” is not the true church. The true church has sought the truth painstakingly, behooved to spending many sleepless nights in search of it, in the company of the cardinal Holy Spirits of Truth and Discernment. Those who do not love the truth enough to seek it, are doomed to be led around by a nose-ring of false-reality and a chain of deceit and lies, held by the prince of this world. Wherefore I exhort YOU, Love the Truth and HIM who ferries it all.. It is the only way to break free from this secular prison known as the cosmos, or the world- with all its many chains, the heaviest of these being vanity, pride, lust, and mind-control.

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the Truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

The True Gospel

Do you believe in God? The demons also believe, and they’re more pious than you are; They tremble! Jesus never said, Pray and ask me to come into your heart- He preached for people to Repent & Follow him.  Sure, “praying the prayer” is a great place to start, but it’s meaningless without repentance, and without Looking Unto Jesus to finish the work that he started in you.  The evidence that you believed and repented a long time ago, is that you believe and repent TODAY! When learning that your activities aren’t pleasing to God, REPENT! Otherwise, you’ve said within yourself- “Self, My ways are better than God’s ways.”

Throw out the idols for sure!  Discipline yourself against vanity; Guard your mind; and stop seeking attention and acknowledgment from other people!  I can’t count the number of times that we get ourselves into trouble, by trying to impress somebody else, instead of seeking the approval of GOD!  (His approval is the only one that matters in the end.. You’re just a steward of all your friends & family)

There will come a time, when everything and everyone we have will be taken forcefully from us.. and soon, I might add- Leaving us just one that we can count on- God, Almighty God!  ..and if ya think about it, ya can’t really depend on yourself can ya?  Let us depend on God the father, and the son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit  RIGHT NOW, like we should have from the beginning of this Pilgrim’s Progress- and then when these hard and trying events take place, we’ll be ready.

Repent and Follow Christ

Too much stuff!

Alot of the same ills in the real world following people online.. People actually get to the point that they “clean up their friends list”… They should’ve never added all those people they don’t talk to in the first place… and rather than having garage sales, and renting storage units for our stuff, so we can go visit our stuff from time to time, why don’t we just not collect the junk that we don’t need in the first place? God expects us to be practical and pack light.. Bible warns us over and over of collecting idols, and of lusts and vanity.. For most people, if God called them to pack up and move, it’d take days or even weeks to pack all their stuff… Maybe that’s why many of us will never be called to great tasks.

Patience of the Saints

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Ya don’t fight fire with fire… Ya fight Fire with Water, Curse with Blessing, Hate with Love, Poverty with Generosity, etc.

You Reap What You Sow.. I can’t say it enough, how often I’ve seen people, and myself get exactly what was comin’ to us.  Sow Righteousness!
